PathToFunding is a connection service operated by PathToFunding LLC that helps qualifying small businesses and self-employed individuals request revenue-based merchant cash advances from $100 to $5,000, for commercial purposes only and not for personal, family or household use. It is not a consumer product. A merchant cash advance is not a loan: it is the purchase of a portion of a business’s future receivables under a Revenue Purchase Agreement. What the business remits is a fixed cost agreed up front, not interest, and it is never expressed as an annual percentage rate. Remittances are typically a share of daily or weekly receipts or a scheduled debit, and may vary with revenue.

Using this site is free, and checking your options is a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score; a funder may verify your business before a final decision. PathToFunding may be compensated by a funder when a request results in a funded advance, which may affect which funders receive your request and in what order, and never changes what you are offered. PathToFunding never asks you to pay a fee in advance in exchange for a promise of funding. Funders generally look for about 3 months in business, about $1,500 in monthly revenue and a business bank account; meeting them does not guarantee an offer. Advances are not offered to businesses in California and New York. This service is governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
